About RackHoldings
A network and security engineering consultancy built on documentation, repeatability, and verifiable outcomes.
RackHoldings was founded to address a gap we saw repeatedly in enterprise IT: critical network and security infrastructure built by capable engineers, but poorly documented, difficult to maintain, and impossible to audit. Configurations lived in tribal knowledge. Change management was reactive. Compliance evidence was assembled manually, weeks after the fact.
We started by building tooling to solve these problems for ourselves — config extraction scripts, normalization pipelines, automated compliance checks. That tooling became the foundation of our consulting practice. Today, every engagement we deliver includes the documentation, automation, and validation artifacts that make infrastructure maintainable long after we leave.
Our team brings deep experience across Cisco data center and campus platforms, Palo Alto and Check Point security infrastructure, Zscaler cloud security, F5 application delivery, and the Python-based automation that ties it all together. We work with mid-enterprise to large enterprise organizations, typically engaging with IT Directors, Security Directors, and Network Managers who need results they can verify.

Operating Principles
How we think about the work
These principles guide every engagement, from initial discovery through operational handoff.
Documentation as Deliverable
Every engagement produces HLD/LLD documents, runbooks, and configuration artifacts that your team can reference, modify, and maintain. If it is not documented, it did not happen.
Repeatability Over Heroics
We build processes and tooling that work the same way every time. Repeatable procedures reduce risk, enable delegation, and make outcomes predictable.
Minimal Blast Radius
Changes are scoped to minimize impact. Migration runbooks include rollback triggers. Validation checks run before, during, and after every change window.
Verify by Evidence
We validate outcomes against design intent using automated checks, not assumptions. Compliance is demonstrated through live configuration data, not self-attestation.
